Description
Orange marmalade s’mores recipe offers sophisticated flavors to jazz up the old-fashioned camp food favorite. Grownups (and kids too) will flip over roasted marshmallows, melty chocolate, and orange marmalade on graham crackers!
Ingredients
- 8 sheets of Graham Crackers
- One Milk Chocolate Bar (4.4 ounces) broken into 8 squares
- 8 Marshmallows (Large and Puffy)
- 8 teaspoons Friends Drift Inn Orange Marmalade
Instructions
- For grilling, aim for medium heat. For campfires, hot coals that are beginning to die down.
- Break graham cracker sheets in half. Top half the crackers with chocolate the other half with marmalade.
- Place on foil, and let get “melty” about 30 seconds.
- Skewer marshmallows and roast over the coals, about 2 inches. Rotate for a soft, melted marshmallow about 2 minutes. If you are impatient like me, catch the marshmallow on fire and blow it out a couple of times.
- There are no S’Mores Police!
- Create sandwich with graham cracker bottom layer of marmalade, middle layer of marshmallow, and top layer of chocolate.
- Eat immediately! Enjoy the gooey pleasures!
Notes
For microwave s’mores, we construct the whole “sandwich” and use the high setting for about 15 seconds. It is not the same as a campfire s’more, but will do when you just have to have a s’mores right now! Giggles
Be aware, Friends Drift Inn Marmalade should be refrigerated after opening. Keep jars on ice if you are camping out.
