White Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Truffles

Truffles and Valentines Day Fantasies of Spring

Growing up near Cincinnati, an Easter tradition was and still is having a Papa’s Egg. Somewhere between an Opera Crème and Pulled Cream Candy Papa’s foil wrapped candies have enticed more than one college student road trip from Lexington to Cincinnati just for a nibble of those Easter delights.

I’m not a candy maker. It’s weeks away from Easter, but I want that taste memory NOW. Giggles Papa’s Eggs are enrobed in chocolate, but this Truffles recipe will not disappoint!

Truffles are easy to make. Buttery, bourbon flavored white chocolate rolled in pecans and more chocolate….well I’m just saying these rich creamy morsels will start your motor running.

Happy Valentines!
